Coolant bleed

Just did a radiator install and installed a new battery. Put coolant in and tried to run the bleed procedure and i don’t hear the water pump start. Air on hottest temp lowest fan door shut and ignition on. Is there a different way to burp the system?

Did you hold the accelerator pedal down for 10 seconds?

You can try again I guess. Use the following video as a guide, just in case.

If it still does not work, then check for power at the pump connector and possible wiring problems. Lastly maybe a bum pump?

if it doesn't work, either your battery too low, or you dont do it properly or your pump dead (fuse out).

Try to charge the battery fully maybe it's low and doesn't want to. When battery is low car decides to not do some things lol.

I got a new battery yesterday because mine had low voltage. Tried it nothing. I ran the car and when it got to operating temp the fan turned on like normal so the thermostat should be in good shape. Must be something with my water pump I’ll look into it. Possibly did the procedure wrong but I tried multiple times and follows all steps.
