HP Autosport Adjustable Swaybar Endlinks

When you lower the vehicle, the swaybar is moved from the ideal factory geometry to an offset that decreases the ability of the swaybar to perform. The swaybar frame mount and the end of the bar should be on the same horizontal plane. The factory endlinks are a solid piece. When the car is lowered, the OEM links cannot compensate for the longer length needed to keep the swaybar in its ideal location. Get immediate response from your sway bar and precise control over your suspension. What this means to you is tighter, more responsive handling.

HP Autowerks is happy to introduce adjustable endlinks. With adjustable endlinks you can return the bar to its ideal leverage point while lowered. They also afford the peace of mind that the links or shock link mount will not fail as is common in factory units, as they will now be adjusted properly. The links are adjustable in length up to an additional 1.25" over stock. HP Autowerks end links are adjustable while on the vehicle.

These end links will fit the following vehicles:
E9x 3-Series Front (no-xi)
E82 3-Series Front

Does your stock one work on the FK coilovers? What is different with the FK coilover system that don't allow these endlink kit to work?

These are over engineered. If any failure should occur, it will be from improper installation and length adjustment.

I didn't do the install but the difference of the oem ones vs the fk endlinks is the length. Not sure what else is different though.

That is what I figured. These are made just for that purpose and is adjustable for up to 1 1/4" longer than oem.

So when you lower a vehicle, you need longer end links? For some reason i thought it was the other way around.

Yes, longer.

What you are trying to do is to bring the anti roll bar back to its original geometry, at least as close as you can for the anti roll bar to work more efficiently.

will the endlinks bend or break if you use the stock length? or maybe damage something else?

My question is should I get the OEM ones or buy the ones that are adjustable...My passenger side endlink from my FK coilover kit seems to be broken because everytime I turn the wheel all the way to the right, there is a clank/clunk noise at that same exact point in turning of wheel, if I turn it back the other direction the same noise and vice versa....Its strange that it only happens when the wheel is turned almost fully to the right at the certain turn point...What do you suggest??

I think you will fine the oem links to be about 1" too longe.

The FK needs shorter than stock endlinks. A few forum members already contacted me and custom length for the FK coilovers will be ready to ship the middle of next week.

Would you recommend these with KW Street Comforts? I have no idea if I need longer ones or shorter ones with my setup. I also have H&R sways if that makes a difference. What's your recommendation? Thx!

With most aftermarket struts and coilover systems you will need longer links to bring the anti roll bar back to the ideal geometry. It also depends on how far you have lowered your car.

What you are trying to achieve is for the anti roll bar endlink mounting point to be as close to the same plane as the center mounting bushings without the joints being stressed(pivot excessively). The best way to check it is to have your car on a drive-on lift that way all 4 wheels are loaded, disconnect the endlinks and determine what you need.


Most of the cases, 1-1.25" longer is what you will need.

Hey. I just installed some KW Clubsports and I definitely need new endlinks! Would I have to order 2 sets of endlinks (1 for front and 1 for back) or just one set for the front? (I dont know how the rear swaybar is supposed to sit ideally) And I dont know what the length I would need is either. I'm doing it all myself in my garage so I need all the help I can get. Thanks!
