If you're afraid of anything new in design, stick to some basic safe designed brands. Mercedes might be a better fit for someone unwilling to evolve.
You got me figured out. I'm so scared of anything new in design. Yup that's me.
I know you are, that's why I'm suggesting something more your speed. Check out Mercedes products from 2012-2017, should suit you well 👍

Still scared of any design newer than a Model A. Please stop frightening me with 21st Century design.

Congrats. Porsche these days seem to be asking for at least $85-90k+ for a Boxster S. The M2 is a straight up bargain in comparison. A Porsche dealer told me they probably won't fill an allocation for a stripper Boxster, I'd have to tag on a bunch of options. I don't think they want my business.
Porsche doesn't want your business if you are trying to order stripper Boxsters. BMW knows their place: under cut Porsche by as much as possible and sell a ton.

Definitely a miss on the styling and the big flatscreen TV. Maybe you can fold it into the dash when at the track?

You’ve been saying this car is ugly this entire time… in the g87 forum…

Do you go to book clubs to say books are stupid too?

This will look even better in black. Would love to see the interior color options. I still think the first gen looked better, but this is pretty good. I guess I liken it to the second generation of M3 versus the first generation M3. So that means the third gen will be legendary and the first gen will appreciate astronomically😂

One of the review video pointed out the larger busier bottom makes the upper rear look squished because it's much more plain. I agree that's part of why it just looks off.

Very surprised at how much better it looks compared to leaks, I actually quite like it. I am very saddened by the missing side vents though

The color and those boxy flairs reminded me the E30 M3.

There are some shots of an Alpine White M2 in the official 2023 M3 video (musical chairs)

Looks way better in white than ZB

Yeah the salesguy spent a lot of time with me explaining things which I appreciated. He didn't rule it out of question, but was straight up like we will make less profit since all you care for is it being Guards Red, PDK, and power seats.

I miss when a couple years ago these cars were sitting collecting dust going for 8% discounts. The 981/982 have been out for so long, may as well just get a CPO example!

The G87 M2 just reignited my interest in BMW. I've been down on this brand for years save for the F87, and have been waiting years for the G87. The price is very reasonable compared to even a basic 4 cyl Boxster or a Giulia Quadrifoglio (easily $85K, and lightly used ones aren't much cheaper).
