Tire Help
Hey folks,
I noticed today that I am having really bad camber wear on my rear tires, not sure why. It's a stock '13 335i M Sport. Could be bad alignment, but the camber wear is on both sides. Anyway... I need to get some new tires for the rear, but it seems no one carries the Continental DWs in 255 anymore. What recommendations do you guys have for tires similar to those that will not break the bank? I do not track my car, and only have a tune with the possibility of putting a dp on in the near future, so I do not need anything super performance. Also, is there any harm in running two different brand tires front and rear? My front tires have about 80% tread left, so it would be a waste to get all 4 new. TIA. This. The Firehawk Indy 500 is the Bridgestone RE003 outside the US.

If safety in regards to wet stopping distance is of any concern to you, then don't get the FHI500. According to TR test results, wet stopping distance is 121.80 ft. Now compare to Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ with a tested wet stopping distance of 113.90 ft. That's nearly 8 ft. Is saving a little bit of cash worth risking your safety? Oh and the Michellins perform better despite being an all season tire, tighter corners, faster lap times, etc.

Just an update, I ended up going with Nankang NS-20 tires. They had pretty good review as a normal performance tire, and really good prices. I just daily my 335i so I did not need anything aggressive.
