Scale miniature model of the G87 M2

Hi all,

Following on from my thread here of the G80-G83 M3/M4 scale miniature models, I thought I would let you all know that there will soon be a 1/18 scale G87 M2 made available.

Some photos are below (pre-production).
It will be available from the end of January 2024.

That's almost perfect. Hopefully they offer the bicolor wheels but if not I can just paint them myself. Thanks for the update!

I am pretty sure that another colour with a different wheel option will be released in the future since they very rarely just release 1 edition.

I am not in the USA so I cannot say for sure but think it will be around the $150 USD mark

Blah, we don’t even have the regular model and no plans for it, why M parts… most of us are interested in the regular model, they should focus on those. IMO

I am sure another colour will be released. The same model manufacturer did release a F22 M235i in red so you never know!

I’m pretty close to having a 1/18 for every ‘important’ car that I’ve owned; close to the trim and color for the car it represents.

So far I have in 1/18 in correct color:

Mk2 VW GTI

Mk4 VW R32

Incorrect color and slightly off trim:

Mk4 Jetta

Mk4 era Beetle (Had a Turbo S, RSI is as close as I can get for that…)

Need:

Mk3 Audi TTS (they make a TTRS, close enough, haha)

G87 BMW M2

Mk2 VW GTI

Mk6 VW GTI

Mk7 VW GTI

Mk6 GLI (haven’t seen one made….)

The Mk2, 6 and 7 VW Golf GTI's and Honda CRX are all available in 1/18 scale (made by Norev).

I am not so familiar with my VW's but is this the GLI you mention?
