Wakefield 31st March

Peeps there is a track day http://www.trackschool.com.au/wp-track_days.html at wakefield on Saturday the 31st March. From what I understand these are normally on a weekday so a saturday is rare. I am planning on going and if there is interest from others than I would be happy to call them and see if we can get a bulk rate but I suspect we would need 5+.

I'll put a list and if we get to 4/5 I'll call them and see if we can get a special rate. (note you need a helmet, long sleve shirt and track license)

2. Luster (or as I like to think of him 'peddler') it'l be a fun day lusty :-)

2 to 4 groups

each doing 15 minute sessions in rotation

I haven't been but from reading the wakefield and trackschool sites it looks to me that there are open days 'speed off the streets' whereby you show up and do your own thing with everyone else. The track school you get instruction and timed laps.

As I said never been but for 300 i'm willing to have a go.

yea the speed of the street is with anyone and that have potential risk of idiots on track that dont really care about others.

any it's 200aud for speed of the street !

Doesn't the fee come with track license? Helmet I believe can be hired on the day.

mmmmm I thought I read somewhere that you need one but just had another look and no mention of license..... But I did notice the saturday fee is 285

There is one of these on my older brothers birthday and I would really like to shout him this but I know very little about it.

Can we both take turns with my car? Or do we need a car each? His car is a family truckster so maybe not so much fun.

Also, I cant see how long it goes for? It says 15 minutes every hour but for how many hours?

Can't comment on the 2 drivers one car although I suspect you are looking at two fees(I'd call and ask)

I called them last year and they start at around 9am and finish around 5 but you can leave earlier if you want to.

Suj all you have to do is not get the cf diffuser then i'm sure you can afford to get the tyres and pads :P

I tracked with PS2 rfts at marulan. It was fine and I pulled some decent times.
