Slow Start After Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement

Hey guys, I recently replaced the camshaft position sensor on my 08 328i and ever since then I noticed that it takes a little bit longer to start. It cranks for like 2 seconds and then it starts. Could it be a possibility that I installed it incorrectly/missed a step or is my starter going bad?
