Swap 6 Speed or whole Drive train? N52 versus N51.

I have a 2011 N51 car that I’ve had for years. It’s been a reliable daily but my only regret is that it came with the GM Auto. I bought a 2011 N52 car with the ZF six speed manual that I was planning on swapping it, but I realized the engine is in really fantastic shape, 50k less miles on it, and it’s the N52 with higher compression. I’ve already deleted everything that makes a N51 a SULEV, besides the compression.

My question is, should I just swap the transmissions between the two cars and sell the auto car, or is it worth the whole drivetrain swap and the extra effort to pull it? I figured that way I wouldn’t have to open the clutch up, which is in new condition already.

Thanks.

how did you delete everything that is SULEV? GM auto is great transmission, light and very responsive. That is the reason there is no performance improvement when going manual on any E90
