Fuel grade

I’ve searched the forum, and haven’t found an answer, but I assume the B58 requires top grade juice?

AKI 91 is the recommended fuel for it. Manual states that it can also accept AKI 89 if no higher options are available but should be avoided and may cause engine knock.

Most higher performance cars require 91+. Ideally top tier gas.

Are you 100% on this?
I find it odd that the B58 has a higher requirement for minimum octane rating than the S58

Added screenshot from the manual. Also the inside of the gas cap lists the same. (Note: The sticker is not factory equipment)
