...and the big curved display is there of course. (Although they left it in German with Celsius temperatures)

I can finally build one to match my actual order!

Build finally up. Yeah I'm thinking of changing mind on the 23 model. Still on the fence. Might switch to audi Rs3.

Interesting that you can't get ZTK with blue calipers anymore. I guess that makes my 22 even more unique.

Still salty I don't have ACC though.

I'm a happy my23 buyer. Really glad my February order turned into a my23 aug order with all the updated fixings.

Do My22 owners feel like 2019 supra owners?

Nope. Many of us did not want ID8. I think the only option I would choose from 23 over 22 is the rhombus interior trim instead of the 22's aluminum.

Anyone notice that ACC is listed at $550, not $975 like the pricing guide has?

you can still talk with your CA when doing your order and mention to them you want Blue instead of the RED ones and they can adjust the order so you have them at no extra charge.

I'm not sure that's correct for MY23. At least not in the US

Nope.. Glad I got the MY22. I am not a fan of the giant iPad trend in cars and happy to have the older dash with physical buttons. Honestly though, I have yet to interact with ID8, but the reviews I've seen of the iX makes the new interface look like a nightmare.

The only new feature I like is the return of adaptive cruise control. This was deleted on my build due to shortage.

Agreed 💯. I'm not against id8, especially in less sporty models, but I really prefer the id7.

Agreed on this. Sprinted across the country to find a '22 when i found out iD8 was confirmed for '23. I went to a dealer to try out iD8 in an iX on the lot, and it felt right for an EV, but completely sterile. Which is fine for a car running on batteries but horrendous for something like an m240. It was also pretty slow, and funny how when i asked about why BMW is doing this, no one defended it... they were all just sheepishly hunched over saying "Yea this is the direction the industry is going". I dislike the big giant screens in a proper implementation, so considering this is a poor implementation, hard pass.

Also you're right about missing ACC, it's one of those things you don't use 99% of the time but the 1% of time you do, it feels worth it.

did you ask your CA about this ? is not listed in the pricing guide but I am sure you can talk to your CA to adjust it on their end ( chose option 3M1 instead 3M2) and submit it like this in the system.

I was "able to play " with the calipers but went with the RED ones instead .

I didn't inquire, as I want red calipers and that's what I'm getting with the ZTK

I'm bummed about no ACC as well, but I'd rather have a MY22/id7 car without ACC versus a MY23/id8 car with ACC. It's a compromise I can live with under the circumstances.

I know , I checked. That's why I was curious about going through the dealership/CA route when submitting the order about this matter since is BMW North America and same plant and the change is just a color change with no charge ...

I was not able to get blue on the MY23 when I entered my order a couple weeks ago. Didn’t really care because I wanted red anyways… Still worth asking the CA if you want blue though.

No, still in Final Assembly, unfortunately. I wish they would provide some type of explanation on the status page, like unavailable parts, no ships available, etc. All they tell you is "Putting on the finishing touches that make every BMW special.". These must be some insane finishing touches.
