I dont think we will see any allocations until August. July if we're lucky...but I wouldnt get my hopes up.

The process for this car purchase is patience/waiting.

I am. Ordered middle of May. CA originally told me week 27. Now he's updated the timing to end of July/early August.

Yes. Ordered June 4, but BMW Canada didn't have updated system for 2023 orders of our cars. Officially ordered on June 20th. Waiting… probably for a while.

I guess I can join y'all now! Count me in as waiting for an allocation! Just abandoned my build that began production because my dealer didn't put in my changes in time.

Sorry I haven't been following this thread very closely, does anyone have an estimate on when BMW will release the next round of allocations? I'm guessing these allocations will be for an Aug build week?

Interesting. I ordered May 15th, and was told November. I'm UK based. Perhaps geographic variance - but I'm a month and a half in and still waiting on any update since my order. All I know is that I've placed my order. No update regarding build slots etc.

Yeah probably start of Q2 2023, if in fact you get an allocation in four months.

You may want to contact other dealers to see if you can get an allocation sooner.

Post in this thread when you receive your allocation. I think it would be interesting to see when people start receiving the next rounds. Likely, it will be a 23 model, but my CA thinks theres still a sliver of hope that this next rd may get squeezed in as a 22 model. We will see.

Not sure how I feel about idrive8, but it isn't a deal breaker for me. I currently prefer the idrive7 interface, but trying to focus on the "positives" of idrive8 if the change is inevitable.

Where are you located? My sales guy that sold me mine told me it's 2-3 months at his dealership for new orders.

I’m now just amused with how royally BMW can f*ck over a loyal customer with 6 previous BMW cars. Ordered my car November if 2021, still no allocation. My dealer has had 2 M240’s sold through them since start of 2022 MY. I called BMW NA, they are less than helpful.
