July Allocations for MY23

It looks like the allocations were released today. Anyone lucky enough to receive one?

Thanks! We placed an order on Saturday for an M240xi and should be first in line at the dealer.

But was the dealer able to submit the order to BMW, or are they merely holding it for you at the dealership until the '23 order banks open??

Mine was submitted as an order with a vehicle inquiry, but is listed at status 047 (no allocation) which is to be expected.

Yes, it is entered as a Priority 1 order (Customer Sold) and I have a copy of the Vehicle Inquiry Report. Status 047 as monogram's above

My Model is listed as 232C M240i Coupe

I would not expect it to change until July at the earliest. Doesn't really mean anything since the MY23 ordering guides are live

My SA confirmed that my order has been moved from 22 to MY23. Sent me the Vehicle Inquiry Report.

Passport dealership who receives a relatively large amount of allocations received zero MY2023 M240s. It’s gonna be awhile.

I have an order in with a large dealership group in Canada for a 23, but they are not able to process the order through to BMW until their ordering systems get updated and they receive allocations (which as of today they don't have.) they are hoping before the end of the month but have no real idea.

This is just speculation (because what else can we do at this point) but I imagine we're not going to get allocations until they figure out how many MY22 allocations are going to spill over in MY23 cars. It sounds like there are a still a fair amount of people with allocations and only a few weeks to get them all built.

I've got a MY22 in QC but that sounds correct, I'd imagine all the people who have MY22 orders without allocations would be the 1st ones in line to get the MY22 allocations.

I least I would hope so.

Right. That's my assumption as well. Put all of the people with MY22 allocations at the head of the line when the 23s start being built and then start giving out MY23 allocations after all the remaining 22s are scheduled.

Absolutely going to be the case, that is also probably why even the larger dealerships who receive more allocations still don't have any.

As I suspected, the dealer I went through did not get any allocations for July either.

I'm almost hoping I don't get an build until the spring, so I don't have to take delivery in the dead of winter.
