Yes with Black exterior Red calipers would look cool. My 230i order is for Blue exterior so selected Blue calipers

Looks like red calipers will be an M performance part that can be installed at the dealer… kinda dumb tbh why not option it from the factory…

No way! Will be waiting impatiently for confirmation.

Emailed BMW Genius twice about it over the past 2 weeks and called last week to follow up. No response to emails and the customer service rep was unable to explain, only promised to follow up.

That’s great, hopefully that is indeed the case.

Glad BMW reacted quickly as it seemed maybe was an oversight since the 230 had them avail and not M240.

There are certain colors where it would be nice to have the option.

That's amazing! I wonder if it was just an oversight so a simple fix. No matter, that is super awesome. I was actually getting bummed out about the car with blue brakes on a black over red build. :

Yeah, 100% sure - M240i. Went into "Production started" (status 150) two days ago. I have a VIN now. To be fair, I ordered pretty much as soon as I could.

I'm happy with blue thankfully but didn't want anyone with their heart set on red to order thinking they aren't building them yet.
