No start, no crank CC-ID 718
Hello all,
This is my first post here and honestly I’m hoping to get some help soon! So I have a 320d 2011 LCI and a few days ago I parked my car and in a few hours I tried to start it again and it wouldn’t start or even crank showing a red car on the ramp/ lift error on the instrument cluster and a engine start fault error on the iDrive. I had my red BST cable replaced along with the IBS sensor after doing some research but no luck. I also changed the black relay in the dash but no luck, the battery is new and barely a year old but is not BMW original. The airbag error came up cuz of the BST change but got cleared after. It has been all working fine since many months now and yes I didn’t register the battery. The error showing in the cluster is CC-ID 718. Does anyone know how to fix it? Is it a fuse or anything else? I have also check the grounds and the ones in the engine bay seem to be fine. Honestly I’m open to all suggestions even though I’ve done it I wouldn’t mind rechecking so please help guys! I’m stuck with this error and can’t use my car Thanks in advance! |

Thanks for sharing can you provide some more details for future reference... What computer or mudule was reset exactly and what menu did you use on the launch pro was used for the reset? I have a feeling we will be seeing more of these types of issues as these cars get older an the electronics age.... Thanks in advance for taking the time to share
