Sirius Highway is currently docked at Altamira per vesselfinder.com. That ship has moved BMWs in the past, so hopefully this is our ride to the states.

Does BMW still ship from Altamira, I saw in some threads they did it in 2023 but I’ve only seen cars go from Veracruz this year? Don’t get me wrong they can take it to any port if it gets the car on a ship 😂

If I read this right, it looks like us west-coasters may get this ship on 4/27:

Last trip, Bravey Ace spent about 2 days in Veracruz, left Veracruz on April 1, and arrived in New York on April 7. ETA: NYK says that Global Leader arrives at Veracruz today and will be in Newark on April 29. My money’s on this one. |

- Global Leader 4/23 - Violet Ace 4/23 - Hoegh Manila 4/24 - Frontier Ace 4/25 Hopefully this means a lot of BMWs heading to both coasts! |

Global Leader is not stopping in Brunswick.
But Frontier Ace is! It arrives in Veracruz on 4/25, leaves on 4/26. Jacksonville 4/30-5/1 Brunswick 5/1-5/2 Baltimore (east of the bridge mess) 5/4-5/5 Newark 5/6-5/7 Then back to Veracruz If you do end up on Frontier Ace, after about a day, you can track it on the Mol Ace site using your VIN. |

We're a weird bunch.
I've personally witnessed friends not buy the make of car they expected to because the one they wanted wasn't available the day they wanted to buy. And at this rate, we're going to know the crew's lunch on delivery day. |

Guys, could you tell me if I can check the car status being from Spain? I don't know what is that genius you talk about. In my BMW app I can't see it.
Im new to this forum, I ordered a m240i in December and since February the car is built and waiting in Veracruz. |

Here is the BMW Genius website for BMW USA - not sure if there is a separate website for Spain, but if so, it should contain similar info. Phone number and email address are at the bottom. You'll need your VIN when you contact them. https://www.bmwusa.com/owners/genius.html |

If yours got unstuck this week, it’s possible that it’s scheduled for the Hoegh Manila, which leaves Veracruz on April 26 and stops in Vigo on May 24. |

So, my car is currently still in Ready for Transport status. However, my salesman still hasn't asked me for a deposit. Anyone know if this is normal or anything to be concerned about?

Probably not, but now would be a good time to reach out and lock it down so you don't get into a weird situation where you're bidding for your own car. That said, these cars aren't super high compition and you probably have less to worry about than the dealership does. They'd far prefer you buy it on day one than they take it into inventory and have to deal with selling it more under MSRP + floorpllan costs. |
