Goodridge Phantom SS Brake Line Kit 31052BKC

I ordered Goodridge brake lines from Amazon for about $145.00, and they sent me the Phantom series which are a step up from the G-Stop series that I thought I would be getting. I think these retail at around $200 to 250.00 depending where you buy them from.

At any rate, there is a difference in stopping power vs. the rubber lines from the factory.

The lines themselves are much nicer to look at and work with than the rusted pieces of crap from the factory. They went on the steel line fittings without a hitch and fit like a glove in the spaces they were intended for.

I would recommend Goodridge Brake lines to anyone on this forum who is looking at SS brake lines.

Thanks, just sayin you do know your stopping power is exactly the same. It's the pedal feel that has improved.

Whats the difference between the 2 different lines though, I would think Stoptech's at $100 or w/e it is would be just fine.

I think the difference between the Goodridge G-Stop and the Goodridge Phantom is that the phantom has a black poly coating on them. I am not sure other than that. The price is about double for the Phantom lines. I didn't pay the double price. I think they were sent to me by mistake, but I'll take the mistake....

I have 140k on the car. I was doing M3 subframe bushings & Diff bushings. The rear brake lines located in the wall, which is the backside of the rear seats, are a major PITA, if the subframe is in place. So for me, it was a "while your in there"

How long do they last? Idk... however id say the rubber lines are probably good for 150-200k for a daily driver. SS lines probably double that.....
