If they’re similar to the Mperformance ones on the F87 they are garbage. Hence I’d replace them with an aftermarket quality alloy pedal kit (such as Pedalhaus).

You wrap your license plate?? This is the first I have heard of this. What is the purpose?

Wish it wasn’t so expensive. I guess it’s worth it if going to keep the car for very long time. I’ll probably keep mine for a few years until a CS model comes out. When trading in, dealers don’t care or even look for the inevitable few paint chips. A good body shop can touch up for a couple hundred bucks if that. I’ve gotten pretty good at touching up myself and as anal as I am about keeping my car clean, I’ve just accepted that paint chips are innevitable and easy to fix. Worst case a bumper respray is $1000-1500 if it was seriously scuffed or littered with rock chips.

Personal decision, I suppose. My drive to work exposes the car to "sand blasting" and rock trucks. For me, keeping damage off nose and hood are important (and I am not a fan of a bunch of touch-ups). |

Yea, good point and if a daily driver I do see the value. It will be just a fair weather weekend car for me, probably 4-5K miles a year and I’m usually pretty cautious about driving near/behind big vehicles that can throw debris.

Thinking about mods to the car - has anyone noticed the .5in gap between the actual seat back, and the plastic covering? Is this piece worth pulling off? Has anyone seen what it looks like underneath?

I was wondering about this too for the purposes of running something like Schroth Quick Fits if they were to ever come out for the platform. I'm just wary of what lies beneath it

I spec’ed mine in Black Sapphire with carbon and shadow line packages. I plan to swap out the wheels for a set of whatever M Performance wheels are offered in bronze/gold finish. From there I will get PPF and ceramic coating.
After that I’ll take easy and plan to keep it stock for a while. If I modified anything later down the road it would be intakes and/or exhaust. |

CF mirror caps and, hopefully, clear covers for the amber lights in the rear bumper. And on the front fender (?), which appear (weirdly) in some photos but not in others.
And PPF/ceramic coating on top. |

Similar concept to wrapping a car but for the license plate. The purpose is to change the color of the plate to go with your car design/colors. Unfortunately found out that here in CA it's illegal to make any sort of alterations. People still do it but I don't want any fines. Will get one of the black generic plates or consider a digital one.
