Car looks great. Hopefully, the whole dimming issue with the interior lights after being tinted is no longer a problem. The tint is a must. What percentage did you do? Good to see another Chicagolander here.

What is the dimming issue?
Is it because dark tint makes the system think it's darker inside when it's not?

Correct. There is a thread on this happening along with other model and year BMW's. Hopefully no longer the case.

Chicagolander here too. Southwest Chicago suburbs.

Still waiting to see another 230i/M240i around here. Other than my own I've seen just one other 230i, am positive it was the loaner I'd driven when my MINI was in for servicing (which convinced me to trade it in).
