Remove M2 from G42 2-Series forums

Apologies if this thread is in the wrong section, but is there any way admins can remove the M2 (G87) forums from the G42 forum directory (see screenshot attached). There is a dedicated forum for the M2. This has been sorted properly in the G20 3-Series forums - M3/4 forums are completely separate. Thanks.

2023 BMW M2  [5.00]
The biggest reason for this is because I like to use the "new posts" tab to stay up to date. This compiles all the new posts from G82 and G42 forums. It's slightly annoying.

The issue is there isn’t actually a dedicated forum for the M2, it is a sub forum on the regular 2 series forum. You need to click on 2 series first, then click on G42, then you see the M2. It should be completely separate so on the main page you see M2 and do not need to go into another forum first. Just like the other M cars.

“New posts” tab still doesn’t separate. I used to use new posts tab and loved it. Wish it was still useful.

That is just a link to the M2 sub forum on the 2 series page. It isn’t a separate forum.

But on a desktop it shows a g87 link so I guess they have a dedicated forum. They just have to remove the g42 links from their forum.

You should post this here in the site feedback section: https://g87.bimmerpost.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=8

I doubt anyone who could make these changes will see this post in the g42 section.

Good suggestion. Created a thread in the site feedback section. Feel free to drop your input on that thread as well:

Yes PLEASE separate the G42 and G87 forums!

It's so annoying having to scroll down to the G42 section, and too many things get posted in the wrong forum because they aren't separate.

It was OK, when there was just a teaser sub-forum when the G87 was far in the future. But now, please break it out into the other M forums.

There is some overlap though, for instance in the interior sections. Aside from the 6MT & seat options they are basically the same.

So yer paying at least 10 grand more just to get a manual since they are "basically the same". Well they each have 2 doors, 4 wheels, and an inline 6 so i guess "basically" they are the same.

Huh? I'm talking about the forum structure haha.

I think the M2 is garbage for my use case, looks hideous, power you can't use, horrible MPG, etc. M240i is my move for sure. M2 only makes sense if you have a mega hard-on for a manual, track very often, and/or have another daily.

Agree, i think the front of that M2 is one of the very ugliest front ends I've ever seen.
It makes the big kidney grilles they had/have on some models actually look nice in comparison.

Did someone already emailed the admins?

Doesn’t make sense being here discussing if they don’t even know about this issue.
