For Sale 162 18' sport wheels and tires
I'll be swapping 195s for the sport 162s when my car arrives probably later this month (production due to complete 6/8). Mounted and balanced at the factory. Will make the swap at the dealer so wheel set will be brand new. Located in NY. Please contact me if you are interested. |

Can you ask the dealer what they will offer you for those 162's and post that price? That will give everyone somekind of baseline for what they are worth to us. I will IM you an offer.

I suspect that won't be much. I was offered $500 Bucks for my base wheels/tires. A friend told me there was about a 400% mark up. So a dealer take off situation is not going to be nice.

I asked the dealer I'm buying the 195s from that question and he blew it off as if he didn't even want them. He told me to post them on ebay. I may consider keeping the tires that come with the car and selling only the rims. What would you think of $300 per?

What did they quote you for the 195's ? One of the large CA dealers quoted me $310 each for the 162's and $265 each for 161's. That was plus shipping , no sales tax. That was with BMWCCA member discount. Looks like about 25% off if i was guessing.
The RE050's at tire rack are currently $245 for the front each and $311 for the rear's. |

I was quoted $2840 +tax for the 195s, no shipping - pick-up only at Circle BMW in NJ. 20% off is the best I cound find, most dealers would not discount at all. In the west Pacific will likewise discount 20%, I believe.

Will you sell together with the original Run-Flat Tire? If so, I would like to pay USD 1400. I will take care the shipping charge also ...
In HK, the option for the 162 package (Rim and Tire) will be around USD 2000. |

They are worth at least $2000-$2200 IMO. I saw the non sport 18's sell for around 1650.00 on ebay with about 200 miles on them. Good luck selling them.

Thank you Scott, that is what I was thinking. I am not clear though about what 18" wheels come with the car non-sport? Thanks again. Best to you, enjoy your new car.
