Opinion - Crazy Cheap Eldor Coils for N54 without Branding

Ok,
Replacing coils and plugs. So research show that Eldor is latest greatest. So I find on site that they are selling what they claim to be exact part without "Eldor" / "BMW" stamp for $179.00 a set. This seems like a crazy deal. Has anyone installed these and if so how long you been driving them, are you flashed? Thanks!

I got a set from FCP euro.

Works great! Fixed my Misfire issues on the Stage1 IC map

Been using those over a year, up to 23psi on hybrids, no issues.

Got a set of 6 from FCP Euro.

Been using them for about a month now, they work fine.

They will come in Hudson Products orange/grey boxes.

I have been using these from OEMbimmerparts for past 6 months no issues and I always push my car daily, I also replaced my plugs at the same time. They will also come in hudson boxes.

great to hear these things are indeed holding up. I been on the fence about them for tha past couple days, think ill just pull the trigger on these, since I got these one step colder plugs to put in.. I might as well just replace both at the same time.

I got the Delphi coils they use in the new M3/M4 and they work great, very good quality. I paid less than $180 so i dont know why you think those are "cheap".

you can get the oem bosch ones for $140 shipped on amazon for a set.

there is a lot of knock off Chinese bosch ones out there though....

So for 20% less ($142) you can get Bosch ones with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own them they will be replaced for free from FCP Euro
