HELP! Intercooler piping collapsing and sucking starving the motor!
Hello guys, just did a intercooler upgrade to a 5” intercooler and got upgraded 3” piping with it, car was running great and no oil found in the intercooler and running on a Stage 2 tune with DP’s, Precision ignition coils, and DCI’s. Anyways, took all the factory intercooler piping out, put the new 3” piping in, got a coupling to fit on the stock charge-pipe, go to start the vehicle and the silicone hose from the charge pipe starts to collapse and suck in, like it’s blocked or something, checked the intercooler to see if there is any blockage and there isn’t, noticed some oil in the intercooler and the car starves itself for air. Don’t know what to do or what it is, getting a VRSF charge-pipe and I may think that is the issue, as well was getting some boost pressure control codes and is not runnable as the hose may break and don’t want to torture it anymore. Please give me your thoughts!!!
