Normal. Just because it is an M car does not necessarily mean it should come loaded. Furthermore it is the entry level M car after all.

You sure it's not like the 2 coupe without premium package? Those have a smaller DRL.

Regarding price, I still think this a bargain in the non-EV world...If my memory serves me correctly, the F87 M2C was about $60K base with few (but some) options available. The base price on the G87 seems very reasonable, especially given inflation. Even optioned to $70K, there is no direct competitor for a manual transmission, RWD coupe that can seat four people and offer this performance.

I'm checking the USA centernet site, and I'm not seeing anything for the G87 yet.
Not sure where they got this info.

On the M240i, the standard headlights basically have DRL's that are a straight line at the bottom of the light, and missing the DRL section that curves upwards on either edge of the headlight.

It's not a trend. Black wheels have been around since the model T pal.
Yes, they have been around, but the last couple of years they have proliferated. I am actually thinking about having my F87 stock wheels redone with the gray (Ferric ?). Be nice to have a choice for the accent color.

Finance question. Can you amortize the cost of M-Performance parts into a 60-72 month finance deal? Considering a couple of items from the M part bin.

Adaptive in that they don't corner with the steering? My 2007 BMW had those and every one since… or does adaptive mean something else?

I wouldn’t consider the M2 an “entry-level” vehicle just because it has the lowest base price. The fact is that the M2 is the best driving M vehicle therefore /= entry-level.

Real ones know.

I get it, I can buy a G80 (and did), but prefer the smaller size of the M2.

That said, it's technically the "entry level" M car.

Yeah it's gonna be a terrible car, 450hp, stick shift, adaptive suspension, s58. God what an awful car. What are you buying instead?

Well, my G80 with ventilated seats is already in production, so oh well.
There isn't any difference in seat padding, comfort with the ventilated seats. I have ventilated seats and they feel great.
The padding isn't thinner, that is wrong.

Sounds like rev match is independent of everything else. Any 718 Cayman with sport chrono locks you into rev match in sport plus. Same with outgoing BMW models.. I like that it's independent in the M2
