Alrighty. 5/12 still scheduled date for brunswick. I’m hoping it’s a few more days after that for Baltimore but I’m optimistic now for a 5/19 delivery possibly.

GAports.com had the Grand Pioneer showing up at Brunswick on 5/12 and now is showing 5/15. Don’t know if it’s because it left Mexico later than originally planned or if because it has to work around other ship’s schedules docking there.

Ok so my my car finished production on Saturday and today it moved to ready to transport status. I called the BMW genius and on her end she was seeing that the car might arrive at the dealership in Week 19 (this week and also my original production week but looks like I got moved up in the production que). Me thinks that is awfully optimistic but I was wondering if anyone has a similar timeline? Also is anyone aware of vessels departing soon or just departed for west coast or Galveston (not sure where Colorado-bound cars land)?

That would only be possible if you made the Grand Pioneer which left Mexico several days ago. I don’t see another ship arriving to Veracruz until Morning Concert on May 23rd but hopefully I’m wrong. This part of the process (Ready for Transport>getting on a vessel) is the longest and a black hole of updates.

Perhaps BMW uses a different port out of Mexico for West Coast deliveries? I thought maybe the Colorado-bound cars arrive at Port Hueneme, which then it would make more sense for BMW to use a port out of Mexico's West Coast. I could also be totally wrong and Colorado-bound cars might be arriving in Galveston or some other Southern port, which then will come out of Veracruz port. I probably shouldn't get my hopes up since finishing production on Saturday and getting delivered within 7-10 days would be extremely lucky on my part...

Yes, I was just referring to Galveston port. Hopefully you’re coming in from the west, though I’m not at all sure of the movement out there.

Since I missed the GP, and I'm on the east coast, this makes me so sad.

Arc Resolve is at anchor just outside the Port at Veracruz and is a vehicle carrier BMW has used in the past. It’s not on
https://www.walleniuswilhelmsen.com/ though not all the vessels have been. I’m also not sure where it’s heading but worth checking the Brunswick 15 day outlook over the next few days.

Edit 5/13: Arc Resolve is heading to Galveston and then to South America.

If you’re coming in from the WC, you’ll probably be on this ship, if Galveston, then Morning Concert.

Actually Arc Resolve is supposed to leave today and is heading to Galveston. Could be good news for you and others.

My car left the factory on 5/10 according to the genius and has been in transit to the port since then. Stars would need to seriously align for it to catch a ship today and potentially get delivered in the next two weeks. Don’t get my hopes up please

It’s still at anchor outside the port, so I highly doubt it’s actually leaving today.

But if it does, sorry for getting your hopes up.

Remember, the trackers aren’t updating so there’s a good chance your car is already at the port.

Well, the genius just told me on the phone that my car will be going to Port Hueneme, not to Galveston. So my hope is that it is sitting at the port and waiting to get on Grand Dahlia leaving tomorrow and arriving at Port Hueneme on 6/2. Add another week for processing at Oxnard and catching a truck to Denver, maybe delivery by 6/10...

What is the route for West Coast (California) deliveries? Seems like Lazaro Cardenas -> Port Hueneme/Long Beach?

Very interesting. Do you know if the vehicles are shipped through truck or rail from SLP to Veracruz? I had previously thought those two were close by but it seems to actually be a 10 hour drive between them.
