Last time I went from assembly to port in 3 days. Guess I got lucky. I’m not expecting it until November but an October delivery would be a nice surprise. Hoping to catch that fall drive before the weather goes to shit.

I have been at "Ready for Transport" Since Thursday afternoon so add me to the list! Eagerly awaiting a car and I am getting annoyed with sharing my wifes car.

Last time I called a Genius my car went from “ready for production” back to “order received” for a month. Did the Genius have anything to do with that? Probably not. Am I taking the chance again? Hell no lol.

As much as it would be cool to get our cars all in the same ship, I hope you guys that are already built can get on a ship way before my car is build on Oct 4th.

It is amazing how in the poll the time from allocation to ready for transport is all over the place.

We need to start a poll on elapsed time from ready for transport to delivered.

Got this from my CA. Looked up the port location. Looks like that is Brunswick, GA. Is destination location maybe the dealership code?

You may want to call and get an update. Your car should have been built already if you are week 38.

Ok based on others timelines you should get your VIN this week. Thursday or Friday at the latest.

My order was placed on 9/20 and was shown as scheduled for production as of 9/20. BMW Genius says my car is scheduled for production in week 41 (Oct 9). My dealer is in Washington, DC area.

Still waiting in 150. Been 150 for 2 weeks now, I was told my build date is tomorrow (09/28) by Genius yesterday but this thing has not moved. Ordered on 09/16 so pretty quick turn around I would say if I can get out of 150.

Keep in mind you could easily be at that status for a few weeks or a month depending on logistics, carrier assignment, ship schedule etc.

Did you use the browser trick to verify that your production date hasn't changed?

No what is that? I spoke with genius yesterday and nothing has changed to my knowledge?

Glad you found it. But be warned - that feature is addictive.
I’m at 150 as well with an Oct 4th production date. I keep checking a couple of times a day (at least that is the frequency I’m willing to admit to) 😎
