OT: Where do you guys like to go out in DC?

Ive been having a hard time finding "fun" places to go out in dc. Aside from either bars or the skeezy big clubs i havent found much outside of dupont.

Any favorite places?

Midtown, Shadow Room, The Park are some of my favs.

Also Arlington isn't bad!

Georgetown Waterfront is a def. must over the summer!!

I agree with Gtown waterfront. Pricey but good.

havent tried arlington yet. but some of my favorites are midtown and FLY. The W has a nice rooftop bar (the indoor one is sick)

The W rooftop bar is VERY nice and I am big fan U st, Alero, Bust Boys & Poets, lots of rooftops bars.

midtown, fly, park are all good. there is also Josephine's lux and love and over by Verizon center you have stir which isn't bad and i agree with everybody about g'town waterfront.

But Mister Days is the spot in Arlington, and the one across the street, Clarendon Grill is nice to if Mister Days line is to long.

Lawd, I hate Mister Days with a passion. I'll pass on cluster fucks, maybe I'm too old for that. Fridays at Clarendon Ballroom is where it's at. Other than that, if it's a club kinda night, it's either Midtown, Ibiza, Glow @ Fur, or Josephine's.

true true it does get pretty packed!! but whats going on for Super Bowl Sunday??? anyone heard of any good spots to go to?

My friend opened up Primetime and ICONs in Fairfax and they are extra legit for sports. Primetime being the better of the two due to the number of TVs and the general atmosphere. ICONs is essentially Rain.

been outta the DC partyin scene for so long (long story) but now might get back into it a bit (another story lol). i find this topic quite useful... what other hot spots do you guys suggest? clubs/lounges , fun places to take/meet young ladies? lol (not tryin to thread jack)

If you actually 'like' the lady you are taking out, I would suggest picking up last month's Washingtonian and start knocking out the top 100 eateries in DMV. Much better stimulation than any club can offer.

Glow @ Fur has a RIDICULOUS lineup for the next 2-3 months. I'd recommend checking that out if you're into music.

Muse is another place to try out. It's pretty poppin' on Fridays. I can also help you out there.

My usual friday night is Clarendon from 9pm till 11:30 or so, then into DC till 3! woot
