I'll reserve judgment. When I first saw the very first leaked pic of the M3, I was so quick to complain about the grills etc; fast forward two years and I have one in my garage and love the way it looks. I'm pretty sure this will be the same. To me, it looks good so far. This leaves a good amount of space for the aftermarket to come up with some sick diffuser.
I'm interested to see what the M Performance parts will look like.

I'm just curious why we can't have a car that looks good right away. So far just about every video Ive seen on the new mustang is all good reviews, but everything on the M2 is utter disgust lol.

Not a huge fan. It just doesn't flow. If it was a piece of music it would be aptly titled "Staccato M2". But you know how it is…if you hear a song on repeat enough it becomes familiar and your ears might be fooled into liking it. Give me the F87…now that's quickly turning into a real classic.

I honestly think it is due to BMWs revolutionary approach rather than evolutionary. To me, especially the M3, no generation follows the cues from the one before. E9x was a big departure from the E46. The F8x was the same when you compare it to the E9x. The same is true when you compare the G8x with the F8x. Same is true about the last two generations of M2/1M.

The Mustang on the other hand, is more evolutionary to me. There are a lot of people that say the back of it looks like a Camaro. You don't see people complaining about 911s.

People just don't like big changes, that's all.
