I think the tracker is technically correct, our cars are at a port. But the way it’s presented as a straight line doesn’t exactly take into account that a car would be “at the port” twice, once on each end. So it appears to snap back a step but it’s actually forward progress.

They always leave those off for the US market for whatever reason. This was true with the F22 as well. Check your build sheet, you’ll have “3DZ - Without lines designation”.

I picked up an already incoming M240i so I didnt start tracking it until later on but here is what I know:

9/1 Order placed
11/2 Finished Production

Since I started tracking the car around 11/10 I'm not sure when it switched to Final Assembly but I'm pretty confident its been there since it finished production. BMW Genius told me it had left the factory two weeks ago but when I called again they told me it hadn't been assigned a carrier. No other updates from them or my CA.

Do you know what ships transport the cars to the Galveston port?

My CA told me last week they received a few cars from Mexico without much notice. Hoping this is the case for us.

I think I may have found the ship carrier that delivers to texas. It's called "FREEDOM" and it's coming from Brunswick, GA which is another port for BMW Vehicle Processing Centeers. It's supposed to arrive to Galveston tomorrow. We'll see.

I know when G42Bama had his car transported on GLOVIS CORONA in the second half of October, it stopped in Galveston first before heading to Brunswick.

I picked mine up last week on Thursday night. The wireless charging thing is missing as well. I was confused for the first 48 hours on this one I think. XM radio is not a huge deal to me as I never really use that. other than that I got everything else on mine. Car is quick for sure. Need to get my valentine 1 updated and setup. I need to get some photos done and I will post them. My car is similar to Jmase except its all blacked out including wheels.

The first time I drove one of these was after I bought it. Crazy times in the car business now. I drove a Supra plenty of times so I knew enough about the engine and transmission.

I found a vessel called TONGALA.

It's currently scheduled to arrive in Veracruz on Nov 28th and to arrive in Galveston between Nov 30th ~ Dec 1st. Let's see if our cars coming to TX will get on that.

They had no information. They said my car was assigned to sales on November 2nd and that they hadn't received any other updates since then. When I asked if it was possible that the car was on a ship already and just hadn't been updated they said "it's possible". I even talked to a case manager and he couldn't give me any updates.

There's no stop-sale on my car or recall or even deletes, they are not sure what the issue is. 20 days and counting since production completion.

I'm praying we see some updates tomorrow after that ship gets to port.

Join the club, its a long wait. My car made it to Brunswick, GA 2-weeks ago and has been stuck there for no apparent reason since.
