The port for San Luis Potosi is Altamira IIRC. Veracruz is too far south.

They had no information. They said my car was assigned to sales on November 2nd and that they hadn't received any other updates since then. When I asked if it was possible that the car was on a ship already and just hadn't been updated they said "it's possible". I even talked to a case manager and he couldn't give me any updates.

There's no stop-sale on my car or recall or even deletes, they are not sure what the issue is. 20 days and counting since production completion.

I'm praying we see some updates tomorrow after that ship gets to port.

Alright, I've hit information bedrock with BMW Genius. For a while now, it's been the same message: "Your 2022 BMW M240i xDrive Coupe finished assembly/ quality check November 11, 2021 and was estimated to be produced November 12, 2021." The status tracker says Quality Check.

No additional information available. Anyone experience something similar or have insight? Thank you.

And so today my journey begins ... Just placed my order. Read thru the many posts here and see myself about to experience the same emotions watching the inevitable slow progress. Will enjoy the last months with my 435i M-Sport as I await the build and arrival. I am curious ... anybody who ordered in the last week or so, what date do you have in mind for your car arriving at your dealer?

I was gonna go with 30 just to avoid problems with 5-0. But that 20 don't look too bad. Appreciate the response!

My CA told me the car is on a train going to Veracruz MX then to Galveston.

Soooo still two more weeks wait at least. Why so hard to transfer cars from Mexico to Texas. It is literally 14 hrs drive from Austin to the factory.

It's looking like newguy2022 may be on to something with that ship. If the ship goes directly from veracruz to galveston then it won't be much till the cars arrive.

If they are going to Veracruz then I think the cars are catching TONGALA on the 28th and arrive to Galveston on the 30th. Probably a week to get to DFW after that, you might get it a couple days earlier since you're in Austin.

I'm thinking 2 more weeks too. I can do 2 more weeks, I've already waited 11 weeks!

Mine has also been stuck on quality check but I called BMW genius just 20min ago and they said that my car is awaiting carrier assignment so the tracker seems to be delayed.
