I can’t figure out why people hate on the looks of this car. I loved the looks from day one. It’s partly why I bought the car. People stop and stare at my car all the time. I love the front, back, side. She’s a stunner. I like this overweight girl quite a lot.

They are LED’s,Power is coming from the fuse box in the trunk. If you decide to do it on the G42 after the celica lmk and I’ll take a picture of the fuse box

At first I didn't like it, I think it was the front bumper side triangles that threw me off. I was bummed because I was cross shopping with the Audi S3 at the time and I hated it and was hoping for the 240 to be perfect. It took some time to grow on me and now I think it looks good from every angle. The nicest in BMW's lineup.

I'll be looking to do the black badge once the weather breaks here in the northeast, although this is shaping up to be the winter that never was.
How hard is it to remove the stock badge? I've read that some people use some mild heat to loosen the factory adhesive and then use dental floss or fishing line to "saw" into the glue and remove. What did you do?
Did you replace one number at a time to ensure perfect placement? I've seen guys on here tape off around the existing badge and just remove everything in one shot. Then I saw that somebody said that the new badge comes with some type of template to guarantee proper spacing?

They are relatively easy to remove, I first heated it up a bit to soften the adhesive and then I used fishing line. To clean the area I used goo gone and then alcohol. Wash the area first to avoid any scratches in the process

The OEM black emblems come pre-spaced, you do not install a number at a time.

I highly recommend fishing line over dental floss as the dental floss breaks easily.

Agree with this sentiment. The front triangles seem like they're just missing something and I think they made a mistake not extending the taillights a bit.

However, I've seen a couple in person now (mines on a boat soon) and it's really grown on me even more.

I did surround the area where the original badges were with blue masking tape, though. I recommend doing that. It will give you a box for where to lay the new badges.

Made some small keyrings today since my key fobs are identical. I’ll have them anodized before using them.

Those are very cool. Unique. I like that. Any way to place a custom order?

They’re really nice! However, I barely use my fob anymore. I just use my iphone. I keep waiting for the phone to not work one day. Then I will be back to fob. 🤓

Just received the newly released Dinan B58 Carbon Fiber Engine Cover. Pretty crazy the quality you get for such a reasonable price.

The stance looks great with the 12.5mm spacers. Nicely done.

Installed IND Painted Front Reflector Set. Fitment is perfect since IND sources OEM reflectors and the paint match/quality is perfect.

The first of a few CF parts I ordered came in today. Install was a PITA - I did not remove the mirror glass.
