Apex Flow Formed Wheels for BMW E90 E91 E92 E93 3 series | Built to Perform

Also the most affordable. A deep lug recess allows for easy access for beefy impact sockets without scratching the wheel face. Available in Profile 1 (less concavity) and Profile 3 (deep concavity). The less concave profile provides increased caliper clearance on narrow applications, while the deep concave profile reduces weight and creates a stunningly aggressive appearance on low offset and wide width applications. Both profiles are available in 17”, 18”, and 19” diameters. Face profile is determined by offset and width and cannot be selected independently. Massive brake clearance & a plethora of fitments. The curved spokes of the EC-7’s face beautifully contour around some of the largest brake calipers available. The split "Y" spokes were carefully evaluated from every aspect to ensure light weight and remarkable strength. Available in Profile 1 (less concavity), Profile 2 (medium concavity), and Profile 3 (deep concavity). Profile 1 provides increased caliper clearance on narrow applications, while the deepest concave face reduces weight and creates a stunningly aggressive appearance on low offset and wide-width applications. All three profiles are available in both 18”, and 19” diameters. Face profile is determined by offset and width and cannot be selected independently. Gorgeous flow formed lip with I-beam spokes for reduced weight. Both the inner and outer lips are flow formed to stand up to all the abuse the street and track have to offer. The spokes of the FL-5 were designed to be robust where they need to be, and extra lightweight where they should be. Weight is reduced by CNC machining material out from the sides of each spoke. It’s expensive and avoided by almost every manufacturer, but affordable with volume. Available in Shallow, Medium, and Deep lip profiles. This maximizes spoke concavity and reduces weight on the FL-5 design. Lip size is determined by offset and width, and cannot be selected independently. Modern design with reinforced lips and I-beam spokes. Like the FL-5, the SM-10 spokes were also designed to be robust where they need to be, and extra lightweight where they should be. Weight is reduced by CNC machining material out from the sides of each spoke. Available in Profile 2 (medium concavity) and Profile 3 (deep concavity). The medium concavity is offered on narrow-width applications, while the deep concavity is offered on our wide-width applications. Concavity is dependent on width and offset, and cannot selected independently. The right solution for every application. An optimized car setup begins with the perfect wheel and tire fitment. Without model-specific attention to each wheels specifications, maximum performance is compromised. Each size was selected to find the right balance between a clean fit and the most grip possible. Each design's wide range of widths, offsets, and face profiles result in unique fitments ranging from 8.5" to 11" wide. Each wheel combines these features to meet the different brake caliper, strut, and fender clearance needs of each BMW model. Most vehicle models have options for wheels that range from direct-fit to aggressive for specialty applications. Daily drivers and professional racers don't have the same needs, so why should they be forced to buy the same exact fitment? 100% OEM Compatibility No need to change your wheel bolts, center caps, or TPMS sensors. All Apex BMW wheels were designed from the start to work with OEM 60º tapered hardware, which means both OEM lug bolts and aftermarket stud kits with the proper lug nut seat type will fit perfectly. All of our 5x120 BMW wheels use a 72.56mm center bore, no hubcentric rings or adapters are necessary. All wheels come with gloss black Apex center caps, but you can also snap-in your OEM BMW caps for a more OEM+ look. All Apex wheels accept OEM and aftermarket equivalent TPMS sensors, and any standard-sized metal or rubber valve stem. If the spokes or barrel of a wheel can’t clear your brakes, the wheel can’t be used at all. We’ve made sure all of our flow formed wheels clear OEM steel brakes spacer-free when the correct vehicle-specific designs and fitments are used. With many applications, even big brake kits will clear spacer-free. The 17" ARC-8 clears many kits up to 355mm. Our 18" wheels clear up to 380mm, including some variants of the Brembo GT kit, which has long been the benchmark as one of the toughest brake setups to clear. Weight Optimized We conducted extensive Finite Element Analysis to reinforce high-stress areas and to remove material where it didn’t improve strength. The end result is a flow formed wheel with an ideal balance of strength and weight.Many companies promote their wheels as being certified by the VIA when they actually aren’t. That’s like using the USDA logo on food without permission. Apex flow formed wheels are officially tested and registered by the VIA in Japan, and we have the proof to back it up. Japan’s JWL is a standard for wheel load ratings. Our wheels exceed those ratings. Most manufacturers only meet the minimum, while some even fall below—yet they still claim to be JWL. Always verify load ratings before you buy. Additional Features Hub Centric - All APEX BMW wheels with a 5x120mm bolt pattern are purpose built featuring a 72.56mm center bore. No centering rings required. Center Caps - We don't charge extra for caps and we design our BMW wheels to be interchangeable with the OE roundel cap for enthusiasts seeking a clean factory look. All wheels come with our gloss Black APEX caps included. We also offer optional gloss red or gloss blue APEX caps. Hardware - APEX wheels can be used with all OEM mounting hardware, proper aftermarket hardware and wheel spacers. Wheel locks and stud conversion kits also work perfectly. TPMS - All APEX wheels accept OEM and aftermarket Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors and standard fit valve stems. If your vehicle isn’t equipped with sensors or you choose to bypass them for your track/race car, then select from our metal stems available in multiple finishes. On an LCI E91, the 18x9.5" ET35 square setup is going to be very aggressive. Typically, that fitment is only reserved for track focused E9X's, due to the significant front camber requirement to ensure everything fits without rubbing. Here is some additional information regarding this fitment from our non-M E9X guide: Front & Rear: 18x9.5" ET35 with 265/35-18 tires At least 5mm front spacers are required for inner strut clearance. Aftermarket suspensions that are known for reduced inner clearance (see below) can not be used with this fitment. At least -3 degrees of front negative camber required. 275/35-18 tires can be used with additional negative camber. LCI: Sedan and wagon may require rolled rear fenders and/or negative camber to prevent rubbing. With stock suspension, a 5mm front spacer is required for inner suspension clearance. If you have an aftermarket suspension that is known to reduce inner clearance (KW, ST, etc), you will not be able to fit this setup. With 5mm front spacers, typically around -3.0 degrees of front camber is required to alleviate any rubbing that might occur. However, with smaller 255/35-18 tires, the camber requirement will likely go down slightly. If you are just wanting to run 255/35-18 tires, I would suggest leaning towards the 18x9" ET30 square setup. With an 18x9" ET30 wrapped in 255/35-18 tires at all four corners, you can run that setup as a complete direct fit on a stock LCI E91. Please let me know if you have any questions! -Geirsen

Just curious, to be truly a proper BMW fitment, would APEX start offering their rims with the extra five holes for alignments? The same holes are also required for dealer camera and radar alignment.
