quality wheel repair

Anybody have a recommendation to fix up some curb rash? ideally in Seattle area

Sound Wheel Works in Bellevue. Used them for years, they do awesome work.

Rain city Wheels in Kirkland does good work too at a good price

Would not recommend these guys. Cory is just unprofessional and just bad mouths customers because his own ego is too high, he talks all antsy and is jittery like he is high on meth or something. I paid for rim straightening only for it to be bent again. Then he makes excuses and just says it’s maybe because you hit a pot hole. Really? I had the wheels for 6 years and it just happened to bend again after laying you $250 for wheel straightening

At the end of the day there is only 2 wheel repair shops in the area since the one in Seattle closed down…

There is a place in Kirkland that’s better than sound wheel. I forgot the name but they should show up on yelp

Probably the one posted just above your post, Rain City Wheels?

Bummer on your experiences with Cory & Sounds Wheel Works. I've been going there for nearly 10 years and had him fix quite a few wheels (my wife & kids seems to hunt down curbs with regularity), never had an issue. In fact, he has never raised his prices in all the years I've been going there.
