Will look cool with the black roof. Sunroof not an option in the UK. Agree on the CF detail on the steering wheel but again no other option available in the UK.

anyone know when the carbon spoilers and diffusers etc will be available? I remember that the first adopters didnt have the opportunity to have these factory installed in the past. I would prefer to have the spoiler, grill carbon, rear inlet carbon preinstalled.

Not sure about the other bits. Since you have to get the whole package, you cannot meal piece it. Your only hope is availability of M Performance parts or 3rd party.

-not sold on the carbon buckets (i am 6'1 225, not so comfy)
-Colors offered are not great, i will likely order white and add carbon performance parts... if that doesnt do it for me, I will wrap it in my favorite color!!!!

I do not mean the carbon package as i am NOT interested in the seats. I would like to order the larger spoiler, the rear carbon diffuser and inserts, and i thought i saw some sort of an air inlet piece for the front end.
I remember with past gen's, port install was offered for some carbon addon options. Trying to decide if i want to wait until April to see if i can order with these M performance parts already installed...

Forgot to update on this forum but I actually ended up moving over to Fields BMW. There was a bit of uncertainty regarding my place in line at Patrick and I ended up being 12th in line. Wonderful dealership with great service, but I was just a bit too late to the party there.

Officially 4th in line over at Fields. MSRP with a $2,000 deposit. Made my decision purely based off spot in line and honoring MSRP. I called virtually every dealership within the Chicagoland area (and even a few in Wisconsin and Indiana) and that was the best spot in line I could find at MSRP.

Compiled a spreadsheet with details on the M2 ordering status for various dealerships in the area. I will attach below. Did not do any research into Dinan aftermarket certification so I suppose you will have to do some of that digging on your own. Feel free to reference this when making your ordering decision. Good luck! (up to date as of 11/22/22)

I imagine BMW will keep the manual alive for a while. I'm not worried about it. Even if M2C isn't a manual, they will keep the M2 manual alongside so I can reconsider!

By then, I expect one would be able to option the forged wheels on the M2 (assuming that the M2C will come with forged).

Also, when the M3 and M4 switch to hybrid-inline-6, I expect the M2's power to increase to at least 473hp for the manual because they won't have to worry about it becoming faster than the bigger brothers at that point.

These are just predictions of course.

I don't think that's a bad spot to be in. You may not make your dealership's first or second month's allocation slots but I'd bet you'll make the third. So maybe February or March production, May or June delivery?

I may need a sanity check here.. I've been rolling under the assumption of 3 month delivery after production begins.
