I am thinking of replacing the tweeters. Does anyone know how much room there is in the sail panel for a larger “small format” tweeter? I know one could dremel the aperture a bit but what about depth? Some 25/28/30mm tweeters can be pretty deep.

Try looking through the Sticky at the top of the page about Audio upgrades there is a link in there about which speakers work and other ones on putting them in . The weakest point in the system is the amplifier in the cae of the Hi Fi system though .

I already have a fully upgraded system but am looking to switch out the tweeters and wondering how deep I can go. My current tweeters are around 20mm and I know 26mm didn’t work originally.
