Remap.

Just been talking to a guy who is in the remap game & he reckons their working on a new un that will give the following results based on 335D:

BHP from 286 up to 370
0 - 62 from 6.1 secs to 3.7 secs.
Max torque from 580 up to 940
Fuel consumption from 42.2 (com) up to 57.5 (com)

Release date 01/04/08.

This must be rubbish. ZF rate the gearbox to 700 n/m - 940 will rip it to bits.

hate talking NM, should be ib ft torque and thats from a young'un!!

bollox, dont have the diff or gear ratios to pull a 3.7, its miles away from april fool aswell!!!

altho im sure it wont be to far in the distant future we will have a map/bigger intercooler combo to get 370bhp

more boost, more fuel and ignition tweaked (petrols) to produce more power

turbo cars have good gains from tuning compared to N/A engines

I think to get these figures you have to run it on a blend of diesel and vodka.

Apparently BMW will stand over any potential warranty issues too
