Remote start from fob works just fine for me. And I always have my iPhone on me.

Unless I have Digital Key Plus, which uses UWB connection to phone. That works when the phone is within x number of feet from the car. Thing is, I have no idea if I do or not. It was a Nov 2023 build 🤷🏻‍♂️

Pretty sure it’s not available with G87 / G42 models.

First, have no issues using FOB and or App to start. Use it almost daily (although I have a time set for start, sometimes I am a little early and start remotely instead.

Only issue was with the app not working on a first attempt. Always needed to do it twice. That was resolved with an update.

Phone always with me or a s close as the FOB is when I start - no issues.

As far as I read, only Samsung phones were compatible with the UWB for the car on S23 Ultra and newer. I have an S22 Ultra and it does not support that feature.

That is good to know. My Genesis G70 would shut off after only 5 minutes which was a pita when people wanted to talk to me about my car (happened a lot) and the car would shut off while I was standing right beside it while I was chatting........

This got me in the habit of remotely starting it just as I was about to climb in so I may adjust my habits for this car.
