Just bought new G42, decided to take a look to the OBD errors (BimmerLink). surprise!

This is the first time I use the BimmerLink utility to see failures via OBD in a BMW.

As you may know, bimmerlink provides 3 sections of info:

- Permanent errors
- Info memory errors
- Error memory errors

After picking my brand new car from dealer just next day I bought Bimmerlink to see if everything was "perfect". I am surprised by the big ammount of "info/error memory" errors i get (see images). Good news is that there are no "permanent errors" at all.

In bimmberlink you do not configure in the app which car it is, it simply reads the raw data and creates some report.

Anyone with experience with bimmerlink? Should i be getting 0 errors in all 3 categories?

BTW, I run bimmerlink WITHOUT the engine ON, but infotainment is still ON (before it shuts down and goes to blank screens).

I wouldn't be concerned. It's probably all leftover crap from when they were flashing ecu's etc during the building process.

Clear them and move on
