Hey, your aliexpress bolt ons are black. Are they gloss black (as in gloss paint) or black chrome?
I’m looking to order some (for when my car finally gets built &#129324 and would prefer black chrome, so any help would be much appreciated!

I wouldn't call these black chrome. I think that they are just painted gloss black (not as deep as black chrome). Here's another photo and I think you'll be able get a better feel for their color.

Thanks for that. Compared to the black gloss trim, the pipes do appear to have a slight chrome depth to them. Think I’ll order these.

I have the silver ones. It looks like the trim just inside is darkened above, where mine are more of a brushed aluminum appearance. I posted a few weeks earlier in the thread if you want to compare.

I have a 2023 m240i leased.
Planning to change the exhaust tips.
The option are:
- these

- or go to a local shop and they will weld the tips to the pipe.
Then, of course, when i need to return the car, i would need to cut them again. Is it worth? Will be any potential issue with the lease return?

You don’t need to weld them, they’re clamped on so it’s easy to install and remove. Also buy them from here they’re cheaper and seems like that’s where that store is getting them from https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32568...yAdapt=glo2usa

Got some from the same link (Ali) and as long as they are put on properly, ie using the locking nuts correctly, they are on very solid
