This has been expected along with the LCI timing / update leaks from an internal presentation.

I much prefer a sunroof and weight doesn't matter when it's already so heavy. Leave the carbon for the boxy M2.

Hopefully “major update” correlates to a redesign of the front and rear bumpers (and kidneys), with xdrive, then yeah, I’d start saving now, too.

When is LCI coming? Only thing I've seen on this is: "In production until 07/29 with LCI in 04/25"

So the carbon fiber roof, interior updates, new wheel options, new color all won't be LCI. BMW will reveal even more in the LCI update starting 4/25? And is LCI going to be MY26 since these new additions will be MY25?
