Painful wait for parts
Has anyone else had the unfortunate experience of waiting for parts after an “unfortunate incident “?
3 weeks ago I hit a patch of ice mid turn in a parking lot at 15 mph. Went almost broadside into the curb with the front impacting first. Damages included repair rear wheel, new front wheel, axle assembly, control arms, suspension knuckle, tie rods. $4500 in damage. Worst part? Still waiting for parts with a Feb 29 ETA from Germany. Be careful out there, don’t be like me. |

No, repair parts come from Germany. For building of the cars in Mexico, Germany ships the parts to Mexico. When my G42 M240 was rear ended, I was lucky my friend works for NA pulled some strings and was able to get parts expedited here for the repairs or who knows how long it would have taken. |
