Irvine BMW - Yikes!
I'm currently shopping for a 335 and sent emails to several SoCal and Seattle dealers.
When asked how much a new 335 would cost, their internet sales manager, Franz Hlasny, told me he had no interest in discounting the e92's. So, I went to another SoCal BMW internet sales manager who gave me an excellent deal on a new e92 (invoice + $1,200) without any haggling whatsoever. I plan on purchsing a car through this dealer on Friday. If everything goes as planned, I'll post which dealer gave me this great deal! |

I am not a huge fan of that dealer either. We had the entire deal worked out for my 325 and I said fine throw in the floor mats and I will take it. They told me they couldnt do it and let me walk.
Wierd business practices. |

i contacted them they said not a penny under MSRP.
but what bothered me about the sales person i talked to in Irvine is he denied the existence of the oil cooler problem saying it NEVER happened! |

no, i drove his car, floored it, took it to freeway, scared him (and myself) a bit, then walked away.
i appreciate it more when sales people are more honest. even if they're more expensive. |

I hope you buy a car someday that was treated the same way during break in as you tread this car. Great job driving a car like an idiot and possible ruining someone elses car.

Break in is always debatable. See European Delivery cars and the Autobahn. "Ruining" someone's car? Way to exaggerate. If someone was really worried about it, they would by a car with > 5 miles. Or the Dealer would not allow people to drive cars hard.

A little harsh don't you think? Relax. That's what test drivers are there for. Do you want to baby a test drive car and then not even know the potential of the car when you get it home? Dumbest post I've ever seen.

They were fine for me, my sales guy, Ali, was fine. Special ordered the car on december 12th, got the car on feb. 23rd and paid exactly what the price on BMWUSA.com was for a car built to my spec + all the taxes. They threw in the all weather floor mats that i asked for as well. And replaced my front bumper for free after drilling holes for the front plate that i asked them not to do.

I went in there 2 weeks ago. The CA told me that there was a non negociable $2,500 mark up. I started laughing, then walked out.
