BMW of Bel Air (Maryland)
I've been using this dealership for several years now for parts and the occasional emergency repairs and had thought it was a great place.
Key word in that statement is "WAS". They have recently moved from a easy to get to area to one of the most congested and hazardous driving areas of Bel Air. If you are going north, you will play hell to get across the traffic to get into the dealership (lord knows Maryland drivers are not known for any type of being cordial and then add to that you driving a BMW.... good luck) and then the whole lot is laid out helter skelter. But it does have a very nice show room full of popinjays full of hot air till they find out you can actually work on your own car. Now I haven't dealt with their new repair facilities, but I can say who ever laid out the parts area is an unmitigated fucking idiot. The parts people are upstairs behind a door and can't even see the counter. All you have is a door bell button (half assed attached to the wall) that you are supposed to press to get their attention. So, if they are busy on the phone or getting parts for the mechanics, you have no idea and after 5 minutes of pushing a button to get service... well the frustration point sets in. The person who did that setup should be flogged with wet noodles. In recap, who ever dreamed up moving is basically a moron. If they think being nearer the mall is going to sell more vehicles, you missed that one by a mile. |

umm... no. They moved and what use to be a good dealership pretty much sucks (except for the parts dept people ) .
Obviously you seem to know nothing about customer service and how it affects the bottom line. So... you might want to put your brain in gear before you start typing next time before you act like an ass. |

Sorry to hear that. My dealer is Otto's in Westchester, PA. They're redoing their showroom. There on a 4 lane highway which isn't ideal traveling south as you can't U turn so you have to go up another street and k turn. Thankfully the service inside is great and that does make a difference. I drive 30 mins to my Subaru dealer as the one 10 mins away is awful.... couldn't even change the oil without leaving the sump plug untightened! Good luck!

Honestly can't you just let him vent? How hard can it be to let someone talk about how they're annoyed that their dealer moved to an inconvenient location?
