Hi guys got a little issue that's not serious just annoying slightly!
I took my car to Santa pod, did about 10 runs came home no problems, been driving around town since with it in a high gear low revs. While the throttle is pressed I.e producing power/boost I get a strange noise. Sounds like exhaust manifold gasket is blowing, I thought it was my turbo seal to the intercooler. Replaced that and it is still there, I suspect exhaust gasket, heard similar noise before.

Basically is there any common issues with exhaust manifold gaskets/ manifolds?

Not sure about your noise problem........ but what times did you get at the pod?

Mines an auto, managed a personal best of 14.2. It was standard at the time, it's now got a dpf delete, swirl flap delete and a piper cross filter + remap so still need to do some more runs with current setup

cracked exhaust manifold? low revs quite cool, higher revs very hot more expansion closing the crack!

I was thinking that, can you get just the manifold?
