If true, that's great. Never understood why rev match was always tied to engine modes.

This. I have an M4CX, and put a deposit on a G87 yesterday. I prefer the looks and dimensions of the 2 series. I had a G42 and liked it, but wanted the S58. If (when) they come out with a M2 Comp with xdrive, ill get one of those!

Might be a stupid question but once the tuning community gets ahold of the car and unlocks the PCM could a tuner just tune the vehicle to 180 MPH? Making the Mdrivers package useless for anyone looking to just raise the top speed? Obviously there's other goodies included and warranty. I just cant justify paying an extra $2,500 for something a tune can do.

Not sure where they got this info.
You don't check centernet. You go from DCS, Sales, Order Entry.

It's independent as you can change that in the M Setup (or on the fly using setup). It was previously tied to turning all the nannies off. This changed with the G80/82

People are funny. Like OMG it's $72k for an optioned M2. It's too much I'll hurt an M4. But then option it the same way and it's $20k more. Lol

Same silly argument where people say we'll the B58 with a tune is similar hp to S58. But then what happens when you tune it?

Compare apples to apples.

They specifically said that USA is getting two options, including carbon buckets. I don't understand why this is still causing heart ache. It's reasonable to assume that the order guides and banks aren't fully updated for USA yet.

People need to practice patience.

They can order now. DCS is the internal dealer communication system for BMW. Just no order guide yet.

Your dealer can't place an order yet so I wouldn't worry about it.

So whose dealers are right? Those of us whose say they can't order yet, or those that say they can?

So your dealer has allocations and can order cars today?
