I think In terms of spec going missing from cars its subject to each individual order.

When I spoke to my dealer they confirmed no spec had vanished off my car and mine is landing last week of March, but I have read that some people on here especially US customers in particular have had bits and pieces go missing.

I've got an M240i on order, it was built on the 25th January and awaiting delivery. There's been nothing deleted from the order according to my VIN decode and from conversations with the genuis. I think from reading on here a lot of the deletions are in effect for the US Market, but not so much for the European one. I guess only time will tell. Once I pick it up I'll do the tests for what's anticipated to be missing and will let everyone know.

I don't want to play tricks with your mind already now, but the 220i is a very interesting car to stage 1 to ~250hp/440Nm. So when the standard tune gets a bit dull, you can always convert it into a small monster extremely easy. The engine, the transmission and the axles are all easily up to it, so it remains reliable.

That’s good to know, as I couldn’t be without a touchscreen.
I’d heard about the deletion of heads up display in January.

Oh I forgot to answer your original question, I got a 7% discount, so it sounds like you did really well, my first dealer offered 10% , but he got sacked for offering discounts he shouldn’t L, so I went elsewhere

I’m tempered to add it to my order, but if the HUD is going to deleted then I don’t think I’ll add it.

Yes I have gone for Tech Pack.

I personally had no issues and nothing removed from my car but I totally get your concern as you just never know with the way things are going at the moment.

As far as I'm aware we don't have the option to check them in the UK the same way they do in the US with genius.

I was advised we can only check via our dealerships that we purchased the car from.

You can quote your 7 digit order number on the UK configurator genius to get order status and date expectations

Mine has been sat at the factory for a month, it's allegedly supposed to be here mid march however I'm slowly starting to lose faith

Spoke to the online genius this morning. My car is on the system but not been allocated a factory status or build. Apparenly that can take six weeks and I'm only three weeks in.

I've managed to get a G42 220i that was a dealer build and it's due delivery date is the 24/03/2022.

Brooklyn Grey Metallic
Technology Plus Pack
Vernasca Leather with Grey stitching
Bi Colour wheels
M Accents in the door cards

The dealer sent me the VIN specifications and there is definitely a Heads Up Deletion due to the chip shortage.

Looking forward to seeing the car in the flesh.

Taking care that I had ordered mine on July.. I'm a little tired about waiting...

I'm from Spain, here there are only 2 units of M240i in all the country for expo , one of those on sale for 90.000€!!

Looking forward to see in the flesh.. I just saw some 220i and looks g8 ,so.. the M240 should be amazing.

I spoke to my dealer this week and my M240 is apparently still on track for delivery late March with no deletions. It was built mid-January so just a waiting game now.
