Congrats !! Mine is also onboard the Glovis Cosmos ... been waiting for it to finally leave the port which it did very early today. Last week BMW Genius told me it would arrive at Port Bayonne NJ 1/8. According to schedule I found online more like 1/13. Hope it gets thru the VPC and onto a truck quickly after being offloaded.

Nice! Genius told me Baltimore 1/8 so I imagine you're closer to reality though I'd imagine it's only a one-day at-sea trip (14 kts and it's a couple hundred nautical miles); depending on how long it takes to offload in MD, may be only a few days after the 8th...

Does anyone know how to tell when it departed port of origin?

I ordered my M240 late November and was just informed no allocations were released for December anywhere in the Midwest. He also said no US builds scheduled for January. I’ve got a 718 Porsche that I’m selling for the M240, fortunately I’ll still have a fun car to drive when the snow melts.

Spoke to my sales person. I’ve worked with him in the past, and the dealership has been excellent to work with for both sales and service and they know I’ve had 6 previous/current BMW cars so they treat me pretty well.

Thanks for the update ... shipfix.com seems to be updated more frequently than marinetraffic.com which I have been watching. Funny how we are getting updates from Germany (I know you previously said your friend has a car on the ship) you coming over to drive it after it arrives?

I believe he will love his car and enjoy it fully after he has received it from his dealer! I do like the ship tracking I have found. I will post a new position tomorrow! Is good to see them being transported to waiting owners!

I'm curious, is my car the only (from this forum) that has been held in port in the US for (1 week shy of) 2 months now? I know many of you are being held up in Quality Check, but any holds after your cars have left the plant?

All cars are currently being held up at the port to receive a radio part that is low on supply. Confirmed this with dealer today.

I'm in the UK (London) I ordered my M240I 2 weeks before Christmas and it's got a build week of the first week of January and my dealer has told me the car will be here by the 10th March so hoping no delays.

I personally thought this was a quick build, I nearly went for a New RS3 until they told me the car wouldn't be here until December 2022 and possibly January 2023 if I went for a Vorsprung model which is a shocking amount of time.

Nice to see some of you guys cars are close to landing and also some of you having them already.
