Which I did, and it now appears that my car has been held at the factory pending installation of "Receiver Audio Module" (which I infer is for satellite/HD radio). No information on expected completion date. Others with similar order and build timings may be similarly affected, so it would be worth checking with your CA.
Well, I checked this morning and my m240i jumped 3 positions in the build process to "in transit," on the vessel Monoceros Leader, bound for Oxnard (Calif.), expected arrival at port January 9. I don't know if that means that the missing radio module was installed or not, but...

My Sales Rep told me the missing radio modules are installed at the US Port and not Mexico. Also without this module BMW has "stop sale" stamped on each vehicle until installed. Module is used for other important functions as well

I've read the threads - ready for a wait - but passing my info as I get it.
I'm in the same boat. Got my m340i german build allocation right before Christmas, but status 105 no production week.
Did your dealer give you any info on how long it could sit without a prod week scheduled?

Well that explains why I have also been sitting in "ready for transport" for almost two weeks. That BMW Recall Tool Links works:

I was looking to purchase the car around my area in orange county. But the dealers were marking up 5k-10k from MSRP. So I called one in san Diego and they sent me the spec sheet for 3 cars they had on order and were letting go for MSRP which he said should be at the dealer by the end of JAN. Placed a deposit 2 days later and got a VIN, and was able to call BMW genius and they let me know that the car should be finishing production on 1/8 and should begin transit next week.
The other 2 might be available if anyone in socal wants to reach out to them.

I'm not so sure that car is actually going to be in transit bud. I'm really hoping for you though! Several us have been finished production since before Christmas. Also that audio module is getting a ton of people, that and I haven't heard of a car being shipped recently..Just keep ontop of it, but just manage your expectations

Mine just got shipped today/yesterday as it has left port. It was held up "ready for transit" for a while. But even tho it has shipped it still does not have the audio module (RAM). I suspect that (as one poster here mentioned) that this may be held up once it hits Port of Entry for module installation for however long it takes.

I suspect the hold up prior to shipping is not the module (since at least in US the modules are being installed at port of entry), rather it is ship availability and a sufficient number of cars to fully load the ship before departing. I have no idea how many ships BMW has on contract for Mexico to US east coast or west coast transit but it has to be limited.

I think this is a reasonable assumption. My car has been sitting at "Ready for Transport" since 12/28 and also has an open recall for the RAM.

My guess is that once they have the shipping logistics sorted, our cars will be sent and the RAMs installed at the US port of entry.

Getting ssoooooo close. Here's to a quick and successful pass-through the VPC! CA thinks 10 more days until the car is in Rockville, but I'm hoping it's less!

Congrats !! I have also been closely tracking the Glovis Cosmos. I watched it dock in Philly about 15 miles away from me. Unfortunately my car isn't going to be offloaded until it reaches Newark NJ hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday. I too am hoping for a quick pass-thru the VPC, fast assignment to a trailer, and have it on its way to my dealer in South Jersey.

Car is still in "ready for transport" has not arrived to the shipping port yet, but today I did pop the code for the audio module. Hoping it gets to port this week and can start the wait for getting a spot on a ship.

today marks my 10th day in "ready for transport". My assumption is that the vehicle is already at the port, but not enough vehicles to fill the vessel. I keep seeing everyone getting shipments to east & west coast, but nothing to Galveston. Hoping I get assigned and off to sea soon!
