Over in the order status and timeline thread, a number of us week 28 and beyond people are either stuck at 150, or have had their build weeks postponed.

Just wondering if we have anyone here whose MY23 car has completed production yet.

I've been trying to figure out Kilter.. Cars come on and then disappear and reappear - maybe when they get handed to the shipper and land?.. not sure.

My car is a 2022 and got a VIN assignment in early June and was through assembly 3 weeks ago - and still does not shown on Kilter. I am starting to wonder if some cars do not appear on the site for whatever reason.

How exactly would kilter know the details of BMW production? Aren’t they just scraping dealership ads?

I think given the movement of some of the later July cars to August, maybe there may be a week or two delay if they are changing tooling etc.

The AutoNation ones are clearly renders and say “coming soon” in the photo. Bottom right is so wrong it’s showing a render of an F23 convertible…

I doubt any of these cars are at a dealer yet. With stocks so low they’re listing stuff that’s on the way so the web site isn’t empty.

I'm still waiting on a 2022 to get through production, so I would doubt that any MY23 have finished yet.

Kilter never responded to my e-mail. (Not surprised) Today I copied and pasted four 2023 m240i vins listed on their site. Adding them to my garage. All four vehicles were at Production Begins. And listed on the dealership sites. So I believe LivingInSalt you are correct. They are just Scraping them off the dealership sites.

What shows the VIN decoder (bimmer.work) about the VINS you found?

I was a week 29 build (production date of 7/18/22). I anticipated the date would have been revised somewhere between last week and this week based upon other threads on this forum, but nothing was happening.

This morning, my CA told me it should be done next week, and that BMW has confirmed my delivery will be routed to Spartanburg.

I still have a healthy degree of skepticism - after all, his sales manager was confident this car was being made in Munich. However I looked on the browser this afternoon the production date was revised to 8/8/2022.

seems like those of us that were quoted July production dates for 2023's have been delayed 3 weeks. It's been very consistent based on the reports here...rooting for all of us too!
