Just The Tip
Received my MST Performance exhaust tips today from Taiwan. The quality is very impressive and even the packaging was top-notch! Installation was easy and instructions were clear, although the pictures were a little dark. For the muffler spacers (washers) I used 2 on each side (4 out of 6).
This is a product I'd order all over again, assuming they wear well over time. https://www.mst-performance.com/products/wms-g4201 |

They looks good, may pick up a set when my AE CF tips fall apart, if I don't go the exhaust route. Are they a PITA to get lined up evenly like my 'just the tip's were?

They lined up really easy. I was a little surprised at how effortless it was. |

I didn't have my own thread for the tips, but well played with just the tip. That's cool, mine were annoying to get both level and matching each other, still not 100% perfect but close enough

They look good but man that logo is just terrible. Ruins it for me but I’m super picky about that stuff.

The logo is less than ideal, maybe there's a way to scrub it off?
Tips look great otherwise, hopefully they fare better than the AliExpress tips. I was interested in those until I saw how they fell apart so quickly. |

I like the quad look, but that logo. I just wouldn't be able to handle that on my car.

They were included. Instructions recommended adding 2-3 per side. I tried 3 but didn't like how much thread it used up on the bolt, plus I didn't feel any additional space was needed between the tips and bumper for protection from heat with only using 2 (probably could have got away with using 1).

Had there been an option to go w/o it, I would have selected it, but in reality you have to be standing right over it and looking down to see it. Like you I'm also picky and the dealership's name would have immediately come off any car in the past, but I liked dealing with Sewell so much I left it (one of the biggest BMW dealers in the US). |

Feels painted, not etched. Not sure if it can safely be removed w/o messing up the black, and it really doesn't bother me enough to experiment (my luck I'd screw it up).
Maybe going with the Silver Polished option will allow you to remove the logo, but I'd rather have the Anthracite Glossy Black to match the lower bumper and just live with the logo. |

I was in Taiwan back in 2000 but never drove to the west side of the country. It's awesome using Google Maps to drive around and explore new places, such as MST Performance.

I was asked how the tips fasten to the exhaust and realized I should've included a pic…
BTW, the nut on the left with the blue Loctite is what comes off for the spacers to attach to the backside of that aluminum bracket. |
