N55 Flash Tuning Greater Than 21psi
PTF...BQ/WEDGE any other flash tuners out there killing it in the N55 game?
are any of you guys able to tune past the limits of the stock tmap sensor 21-22psi using the n20 tmap? i am running N20 right now with jb4 FF ISO/ stacked with BMS BEF. thanks

In my logs everything looks great, trims look ok (on cyl 1 LOL) timing AFR is lean n mean ..... Etc etc just would like to try a flash only tune IF someone can tune N55 with the n20. I don't want to be capped at 21psi though so I may be waiting to try the flash only route. I do have to give props to dzenno after seeing houtan latest logs on 91 octane. He is dct FBO 135i stock snail boosting 21 down low and holding 15psi at 5400-5700 rpms. This is no meth or E85 and absolutely no timing issues on any cyl. He also has a solid e50 tune from PTF too.... Just would like to do my own "testing" ![]()

How are you going to sort fuelling if you ditch meth? I am sure the meth is sorting a few psi of fuelling if you run 21 psi till redline.
Also do you want to run 21 psi till redline daily? I like the idea i can run 15 psi daily and up it when i feel like it. |

Cobb doesn't give access to the TMAP sensor scaling table, I asked if it was in the works and got a solid "no".. You will be able to tune above the TMAP limit but you'll be blind as to how much boost you're actually running without an external sensor.. Tap the intake manifold? I think with the right tune you could use the jb4 simply to handle the n20 TMAP sensor and maybe as a meth controller. Probably the route I'd like to eventually go.

i dont mind running high boost daily as long as its smooth part throttle. i dont think the meth is helping bc if i turn it off i dont get cut outs or misfires....also theres the other S2 car that just posted 22psi on pump gas which is impressive as hell no meth etc etc

Page 18 is copy of my dyno- it was posted from pure Just got upgraded DV- must say, I notice the diffeprence and if Cobb ever lets us go above 22, I already have my n20 tmap waiting. Haha.

Has anyone tried emailing Cobb for a potential patch? They were extremely helpful when I had my EVO and needed to open a previously locked portion of the ECU. They sent me a custom patch file with the parameters I wanted to modify opened so I could make changes via ATR. The next update of their software had them opened as well because it solved a common issue we were having. Just a thought.
